The Macánta Capital executive team consists of Tim McSweeney, Richard Pratt and Evan McSweeney who together share more than 40 years experience in the Financial Services industry and more recently in Irish and European Real Estate Markets. At the very core of our business, we pride ourselves as operating with utmost professionalism, transparency and integrity.
Tim McSweeney
Director
Tim has over 35 years international business experience ranging from multi-nationals to small and medium-sized companies. In recent years, he has been active in the property investment market, as well as assisting businesses with management, consulting, and advisory roles. Previously, C.F.O. and co-founder for 7 years at eVent Medical Ltd. preceded by 10 years in various senior finance positions at Boston Scientific Corp. Tim holds a B.Comm.from UCC, and an M.B.A. from Boston College.
Richard Pratt
Director
Richard began his career in Musgraves Cork in 2011 before moving to Dublin to join the PWC FDI team. From there Richard moved to Bank of New York Mellon Dublin to work on a range of Private Equity Funds & CDO’s. Richard returned to Cork in 2016 to work with a boutique Investment office PFS Private which specialises in sourcing & funding opportunities across the transaction spectrum, initially property focused, his role now encompasses opportunities across a variety of sectors and companies from start-up through to established names.
Evan McSweeney
Director
Evan is an experienced project manager and web designer with a proven track record in financial services as well as Real Estate and retail sectors. Evan has had various PM roles in the Real Estate sector in San Francisco and also worked as a Business Development Officer for City National Bank. Upon returning to Ireland, Evan has worked with many businesses in Galway, adding value through digital marketing, project management and web design. A strong creative professional with a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing and business from Trinity College Dublin.
